Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Coplango B.V. ("Coplango", "we", "us") collects and processes personal data when you visit coplango.com or submit the contact form. It is written to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Dutch Uitvoeringswet Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (UAVG).
1. Data controller
The data controller responsible for your personal data is Coplango B.V., Posthoornstraat 11, 3011 WD Rotterdam, The Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 42010520, VAT number NL869273450B01. You can reach us regarding any privacy matter by email at hello@coplango.com.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the minimum personal data needed to respond to your inquiry. When you submit the contact form, we process the name, email address, optional company name, and message body you provide. We do not collect IP addresses, cookies, or tracking identifiers. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless and processes only aggregated page-view data with no cross-site fingerprinting.
3. Why we process your data
We process contact-form submissions solely to respond to your inquiry, scope a potential engagement, or provide the information you requested. We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any secondary purpose, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for advertising.
4. Legal basis
Our legal basis for processing contact-form data is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries).
5. How long we keep your data
Contact-form submissions are delivered to our inbox as email and retained there for a maximum of twenty-four (24) months after the last interaction, after which they are deleted from the mailbox. If an engagement is established, relevant correspondence may be retained longer under the contractual retention obligations of the engagement.
6. Your rights under the GDPR
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, or port your personal data, and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you believe your rights have been violated. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@coplango.com — we will respond within thirty (30) days.
7. Third-party processors
We use a small number of sub-processors under data processing agreements: Vercel (static site hosting, EU region) for delivering the website, Resend (transactional email, EU region) for receiving contact-form notifications in our inbox, and Plausible Analytics (cookieless web analytics, EU-hosted). None of these processors receive data beyond what is strictly necessary for their role.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site does not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or session management. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not set any non-essential cookies. The analytics tool we use (Plausible) is cookieless by design.
9. International data transfers
All personal data is stored in EU data centers. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless required by applicable law.
10. Security measures
We protect personal data using industry-standard measures: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for the database, access controls limiting who on our team can read submissions, and regular security patches on all infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy, or requests to exercise any of your GDPR rights, can be sent to hello@coplango.com. If you prefer to write, our registered address is Coplango B.V., Posthoornstraat 11, 3011 WD Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
